13-20 and 1 TD in win vs Texas, in a role as highly conservative, mistake-free game-manager, but 25-32 3TD 2 INT vs Ohio U in a blowout win. Pocket movement 92.5 Passing Grade (1st in P4); 80% completion rate (6% better than the next best FBS QB). 81.2% Adjusted Comp (1st in P4); 73.9% Accurate-Throw Rate (1st in P4); 32 passing TDS. Some analysts like Yahoo's Nate Tice are slightly lower on his pro translating skills, projecting him as a Day 2 (third-to-fourth round) pick due to concerns about arm strength and creating outside the pocket. The Ohio State Buckeyes quarterback publicly praised the franchise's centerpiece, naming Buffalo's Josh Allen as one of his top favorite NFL quarterbacks to watch and study.
