Expected to be a defensive leader. Brown was the 2025 Blanchard-Rodgers Award winner for the state of South Carolina's best collegiate player. Explosive and aggressive LB but it's his improving ability to read keys that jumps out. Pro Bowl upside. The former five-star recruit was top 10 in the ACC in defensive stops last season (41) and led Clemson in run stops (26).

Career-high 7 tackles, 1.5 tackles for loss, and 1 sack vs VaTech; no stats vs Mizzou (had been cleared of ejection suspension that week); vs Bama, was fighting through a hip injury he sustained the prior week. Though he was cleared to play, he was noticeably limited by the injury and double-teams. He failed to secure a sack as Alabama held on to win. Reid: "Eye-popping bend and explosiveness, but more finishing production will be expected."
