A former unanimous four-star recruit and standout multi-sport athlete from Anniston, Alabama, he has navigated a highly publicized journey through the SEC. He began his career with the Alabama Crimson Tide under Nick Saban before transferring to the arch-rival Auburn Tigers in 2024. Following a mid-season dismissal from Auburn for a violation of team rules, he found a fresh start under head coach Pete Golding at Ole Miss, where he immediately blossomed during the 2025 season. As a full-time starter for the Rebels' playoff defense, Kite recorded 34 tackles and five pass breakups.
