2 solo, 6 assists 2 PBU vs SCAR; 4 solos, 1 assist vs FSU, 5 solos 4 asst vs GA, all 2025 scouted. 74 total tackles, 2 sacks, 3 forced fumbles, 4 interceptions, and 8 pass deflections in 2025. Interchangeable Swiss army Safety (who added 31% of snaps at Nickel/Box, 38% at CB ). Versatility is Hubbard's calling-card. He fits the "versatile"chameleon DB" need more than Taaffe did. Bama was PFF's 2nd-Ranked Secondary in College Football as of this writing. I see Hubbard as a successor to new alumni Cam Lewis or Taron Johnson, but with all of our injuries in the secondary, maybe you need a Jack-of-all-trades.

Vs. Missouri (Nov 22, 2025): This was Johnson's standout game of the season. He earned a starting node at cornerback and came up with a massive defensive play late in the third quarter, intercepting Missouri quarterback Beau Pribula. The takeaway halted Missouri's momentum and helped seal the Sooners' 17-6 gritty victory. Vs Temple: registered a career-high 4 tackles. Was on ST in the 2 other scouted matches. An athletic, playmaker cornerback, the rising junior bypassed the transfer portal to return to Norman for the 2026 season. He is projected to anchor a premier three-man cornerback rotation alongside EliBowen and CourtlandGuillory, ensuring the Sooners boast one of the deepest defensive back units in the SEC. Ourlads lists him as a backup, but he'll get plenty of time.
