Dean Kindig
DNP in 2025 scouted game vs OK, 1 solo vs Wisc. Notable instincts and ball skills, projected as a potential late-second to early-third round pick. Following an ACL injury in spring 2024 and missing time, his draft stock is tied to his recovery. Rod Moore may have had the poorest interview and is tied for the leanest safety in his class, but he was PFF's highest-graded returning Big Ten safety. He sealed a victory with a crucial interception against Ohio State, was an All-Big Ten selection, won three consecutive Big Ten Conference titles and a natty in 2023. PFN describes the redshirt junior as a top prospect for the 2024 NFL Draft, praising his agility, fluidity, and football IQ. Despite his sub-par interview performance, Moore's natural instincts and ability to read the game allowed him to hit the field immediately at Michigan. He recognizes routes quickly, can read the QB's eyes, and doesn't hesitate to make plays. That bad interview, though. Returned to action and showcased his leadership against Huskers in 2025.
