In the 2024 season, he started in all 12 games, recording 32 tackles, eight pass deflections, four interceptions, and a touchdown. After the conclusion of the season, O'Connor entered the NCAA transfer portal. O'Connor is the nephew of former NFL cornerback Jason David (Colts).
