Dean Kindig
1 solo,.5 TFL vs Washington St, scouted. 3 asst in upset of FSU, 1 solo vs CCU, both scouted. A transfer from Alabama where he spent his earlier seasons (also Virginia) before transferring to Arkansas in January 2026, so he didn't meet Landon Jackson. Now with the Cavaliers. "He's a powerful kid, he's really really smart and he's been coached well," said Coach Kevin Downing. "He picks things up pretty fast." Although he played EDGE in high school, he has bulked up significantly to roughly 6-foot-4 and 300 pounds. This frame allows him to play inside and hold up well against the run. Playstyle: His game is built on straight-line power, leverage, and anchoring the run. While he has some pass-rushing upside, he does not possess the elite, twitchy speed or bend typically associated with NFL edge rushers.

Enters his final collegiate season among the highest-rated returning interior defensive linemen in the country. His 84.8 overall grade as a junior ranks third at his position group, trailing only Colorado's EzraChristensen (previously at New Mexico State) and Auburn's Cody Sigler (previously at Arkansas State). Will switch to jersey No. 10 for his final season as a Red Raider. @IC_Draft: "impressed me a ton on film. All-American in '25. 4.5 sacks, 9 TFLs, 84.3 PFN DT Impact grade. Average size, but elite explosive capacity, great size-adjusted power, relentless motor. Love his fit in penetrating, one-gapping schemes."
